Story Behind My Blog

My topic is HIV and AIDS. My sixteen year old cousin inherited HIV at birth. Her mother, my aunt, died from AIDS when my cousin was only four years old. Her father also died from AIDS when she was ten years old. I never got the chance to meet either of them. I chose this topic because she is my best friend. I watch how she struggles and fights with this everday. She is the strongest person I know. I have all respect for her. She is my hero and I have always looked up to her. Im writing this blog for her because it will show her I care. I also plan to spread the word about this disease and raise awarness.
